HOTPLATE STIRRER laboratorium adalah salah satu alat jenis alat laboratorium berfungsi untuk menghomogenkan larutan yang disertai dengan pengadukan. Hot plate dan magnetik bar (magnetic stirrer) adalah satu kesatuan. JIka anda hanya menginginkan pemanasnya saja, anda dapat membeli hot plate tanpa fitur pengadukan. Namun, era sekarang ini, laboran, praktikan dan peneliti lebih menyukai menggunakan hotplate yang multifungsi dan banyak fitur.

Hot plate di laboratorium biasanya terdiri dari pemanas dan magnetic stirrer (stirrer bar). Alat pemanas dan pencampur larutan hingga homogen ini dapat dijumpai di berbagai jenis laboratorium, baik itu lab kimia, lab fisika, lab biologi ataupun lab lainnya. Bisa dikatakan hot plate stirrer merupakan alat laboratorium yang sifatnya universal. Bagian magnetic stirrer tersedia dalam berbagai ukuran, mulai dari 1 cm hingga 5 cm.
