THE TOSI (TEST OBJECT SURGICAL INSTRUMENT) EN ISO
The TOSI is a test object for monitoring the cleaning efficiency of washer-disinfectors as well as for
reprocessing of surgical instruments in washer-disinfectors.
The etched stainless steel plate and graduated perspex cover duplicate a variety of surgical instruments,
with the test soil correlating to human blood (complying with EN ISO 15883) without the associated hazards.
The TOSI is simple and easy to deploy, detecting residue down to the microgram scale
and delivering an objective and rapid visual check of the machine’s operational effectiveness.
